i found this project quite fun, i enjoyed adding different letters and characters in order to make a bigger picture. For the first time doing this i would say i did a pretty good job. I chose to do NFL star wide receiver Stefon Diggs because he's honestly someone i look up to in life, he carries himself well, has great style, is known for his amazing hygiene and he does my dream profession. i would say the hardest part about this project was doing the mouth but on the other hand the easiest part of this project was his eyebrows and his facial hair. I hope to keep working with this concept and keep improving.

recreating repetition

 Im so glad we are no longer using indesign. Using illustrator taught me how easy adobe apps should be to use. I learned a lot of new tools like the [paintbrush tool and during this project i also used grouping and locking layers quite a lot. I love illustrator and i honestly hope we stop using indesign, recreating my work from last year was honestly so fun.

Logo Development

25 PENCIL ROUGHS     Sketching rough drafts for my company’s logo in my notebook was a surprisingly rewarding part of the design process. There’s something about putting pen to paper that helps ideas come out more freely. Without the pressure of making everything perfect, I felt more comfortable playing around with different shapes, lettering styles, and concepts that could represent the brand. Some ideas came quickly—little sparks from thinking about what the company stands for—while others took more time to figure out. What I liked most about this stage was how flexible it felt. I could cross things out, circle parts I liked, or draw several versions of the same idea in a row. The notebook became a messy but useful space where creativity wasn’t limited.
