Detachment 
For this drawing I wanted to do circles and just cut the in half to show the way they detach



Touching

For this drawing I wanted to show multiple shapes touching and I feel like I executed this pretty well I like how they touch.


Overlapping
For this one I wanted to divide the frame reference into 4 squares and shade two of the squares while keeping two of the squares white this allow the two squares to look like their overlapping.


Intersection
For this one I ran out of shapes so I started drawing x’s as you can see when the x’s touch the parts that are touching they turn black.


Unity
I took inspiration for the I that I saw another student do and I took several rectangles and turned them into the letter A

Coinsiding 

For this piece I wanted to make it seem like a puzzle and I ended up adding a circle in the bottom and I like the way this turned out 


Penetration
I took inspiration from another student and I drew a snake looking shape and every time the shapes interact with the snake shape they turn white which I really like how it turned out. 


Subtraction
For this piece I wanted to stack triangles on top of Eachother and then I realized that it looks like arrows so I drew an arrow pointing to every side.

    I think some of these are basic and you could have added more to them. but i like the touching one because there are a bunch of shapes stacked

    Overall i think that all the drawings are good but one thing that could be improved is adding achromatic color. This could be done by outlining the shapes or coloring some the shapes in to make them standout. My favorite one has to be the intersection drawing bevause i like how the X's intersect and black where they intersect.

recreating repetition

 Im so glad we are no longer using indesign. Using illustrator taught me how easy adobe apps should be to use. I learned a lot of new tools like the [paintbrush tool and during this project i also used grouping and locking layers quite a lot. I love illustrator and i honestly hope we stop using indesign, recreating my work from last year was honestly so fun.

Logo Development

25 PENCIL ROUGHS     Sketching rough drafts for my company’s logo in my notebook was a surprisingly rewarding part of the design process. There’s something about putting pen to paper that helps ideas come out more freely. Without the pressure of making everything perfect, I felt more comfortable playing around with different shapes, lettering styles, and concepts that could represent the brand. Some ideas came quickly—little sparks from thinking about what the company stands for—while others took more time to figure out. What I liked most about this stage was how flexible it felt. I could cross things out, circle parts I liked, or draw several versions of the same idea in a row. The notebook became a messy but useful space where creativity wasn’t limited.
