Diego Diaz Fundamentals Of Design Project

Diego Diaz Point Line Plane Project

Plane 1

I started by doing the lines across the paper, then adding semi circles cause I wanted to show different types of lines I then wanted to add some contrast so I ended up shading some parts in.
Line 1

For this art piece, I have no idea why but I wanted all the lines to complement each other and I truly feel like made that happen. Everytime I look at this I think about a New York City apartment building during the great depression
Line 2

I started in the middle and then made my way into the top corners and then i ended up connecting it into the bottom.
PLP 1

I wanted to show contrast on this one so i started by making squares and rectangles, I then added a semi circle on the bottom left and top right corners, I then complemented that by adding small circles in each shape.I ended by shading it in.
Point 1

I really imbraced the idea that point doesn’t have to be small little dots on this one, with that being said I ended up just drawing small but not tiny triangles, circles and squares and just traced them
Plane 2

I wanted to show contrast again so I started by drawing semi circles and they began to overlap and this gave me the idea to shade that in, I ended up doing that and this is how it came out
PLP 2

I wanted to make something very spacious and outer space type theme so I ended u drawing semi circles and adding small dots and wiggly lines and I like how this came out.

Point 2

I was listening to drake while making this one and the idea popped in to make the Canadian maple leaf on the top of this and I kinda did that but I’ve got a lot of comments saying that this kinda looks like a black hole

Comments

  5. I think my favorite one is Point Line Plane 2 because i like how you but half a circle and also used wavy line. It makes it look really cool!!! One things that you could improve is try not to overlap the lines make it look a bit more neater. My least favorite would have to be the last one because the lines are too light and idk what it is. One thing that you could improve is using a thicker sharpie to create boldness and make it pop out.

  13. i think my favorite is plane 2 for its not simple and is very neat and looks very calming, But my least favorite is point 1 for it looks plain and looks like you did it fast. Next time i would do more of the shape and make it more neat.
