hierarchy on grid

Image
I really enjoyed this project because it really tested my skills as a graphic designer. I was forced to manipulate the white space for my own good. I really enjoyed putting place holder text and inn a way at times i felt as if i was in a way doing one of the gestalt principles which is figure ground. I like the topic of hierarchy and i would love to do another project like this again

gestalt on grid

I enjoyed working with grids and i really enjoyed the short cuts i used. the made my job super easy and im going to keep using shortcuts in order to really perfect my craft. I think using grids is honestly a really helpful tool because it allows you to keep symmetry and honestly keep everything organized while still making your message to the consumer clear. what i also really liked about this assignment is that it really opened up a lot of new tools to me and now i can start using short cuts in my work to make me more efficient and fast. the principle i enjoyed displaying the moist would be figure ground because in order to show figure ground i had to really think deeper and create a deeper connection between the grid and whats actually on the grid. I can see why graphic designers use grids so much, they value their time and i would too, grids make things a lot easier and if i become a graphic designer one day i will use grids.

hierarchy reflection

I found this project very easy. The paragraph tool was very easy to use but i did find the indesign app to be a bit hard to use. The arrangement had me a bit overwhelmed. im glad i was able to do this quick and affectively. It only took me one period and it honestly could've taken me less. I cant wait to use this app more and get comfortable I see myself using this app in the future and actually making money with it. I like the variety of tools it offers and so far i havent even been able to explore half of the tools
